The fair set up in the parking lot of Nottaway Park over the weekend. Sophie, once she heard about it, remembered the one and only time she had cotton candy the previous year, and she wanted more. After the whipped sugar and an ice cream, we hit the rides that did not require a vertical stature of 42 inches. She even won a couple of prizes.  Sophie has been drawing pictures of bumper cars since that Sunday, in anticipation of next year and several more inches in height.
